How to get to us…
By Car
La Balie is located on the D162 just outside the village of Salles in the Lot-et-Garonne. (Beware there are several towns in France called Salles so do make sure you choose the right one!)
La Balie is in most GPS’s under it’s original 17th century spelling of La Baillie.
There’s plenty of parking available at La Balie
By Rail
There is a TGV (high speed train) direct from Paris to Agen which takes 3.5 hours. Agen is approximately 50km SE of La Balie.
You can hire a car in Agen to continue your journey or connect onto a regional train to Monsempron Libos which is our nearest station at just over 15km from the house

By Air
Bergerac Airport is our closest airport and is an easy 45 minute (50km) drive from the house.
There are several carriers flying into Bergerac
Ryan Air – Bristol, East Midlands, Liverpool and London Stansted
Jet2.com – Leeds
British Airways – London City
Agen Airport is tiny regional airport about 45km south of La Balie with flights from Paris on HOP!
Bordeaux Airport and Toulouse Airport are also both within reach at approximately 2 hours drive (160km) from La Balie.
